Introduction
My name is Dóri, and I would like to support the life of others through my work, share my knowledge with the people around me and at the same time experience a challenging journey. I graduated as a computer engineer at the Budapest University of Technology in 2017. Since then, I've been working as a website developer. My current job is at JFM which is the second-largest Danish media company, where I work as a PHP developer. In my previous job I was promoted as a Lead web developer and with my team we were responsible for the complete renewal of the Central Bank of Hungary's website, as well as creating new websites and provided long-term support for companies such as 4iG, OTP Bank, Telekom, Erste Bank, K&H Bank, Budapest Bank, Magyar Posta.

Three key events in my life
For me, the most important thing is that I am a Christian. I love to serve, love people and love to live under the fact that I am saved.
I organized 15 "Amphitheatre Cup" maths competitions, with 500+ participants per year.
I have mentored more than 10 people in learning programming, and developing new skills in their lives and for the team.

- Responsibility: I take psychological responsibility for everything I commit myself to. If something doesn't work, I will keep looking for a solution until it does.

PHP backend developer
- This Danish media company has launched a new Hungarian development team to build new products for their B2B platform. Unfortunately the company’s board members were unable to prioritize the upcoming projects, and until then we were working on the company’s internal tools such as de-indexing published pages, and a monitoring software for all sites. To date, the decision of the board of directors has not been received, so with the approval of the IT director, we are looking for new jobs to be productive and not to burn out.

- We delivered CMS solutions for large enterprise customers and my team was responsible for the complete renewal of the website for the Central Bank of Hungary. We also created new websites and provided long-term support for other big companies. The team worked with agile scrum methodologies.
- I was promoted to a Lead web developer in 2021 and with that I was responsible for the whole team’s work. My job was to handle all the in- and out communication, work preparation, planning, designing structures and meet the project deadlines. We also worked on a new people programme, with other leaders.

- We made dozens of webpages in teamwork on php basis for different companies and firms. I used php, Wordpress, and started to learn and use the Laravel framework.
- I did a couple winning games with Laravel, and I rewrote one of Unicef's service, for school students; based on mentoring and healthcare program.

- I learned web development during a mentor program. I created the new version of a demo site, which illustrates one of the company's chemical and biological software functionality in an online environment.
Hobby projects
- Since 2017, I have been using PHP and the Laravel framework to implement my ideas. I created a presentation app to present songs, verses and news on any display size with automatic text scaling. The site is used by several churches on a weekly basis.
- In 2019, a friend of mine approached me to create a new version of their CMS system for their family business because their old system was outdated and they wanted to add new features as well. It didn't make sense to implement them in the old codebase, so I redesigned the system for them from the scratch and then upgraded it to meet their needs. The company provides trainings on finance and accounting topics, and thousands of users have been able to sign up through the new website since December 2021. I also integrated email broadcasting into the system, which is used to send out tens of thousands of emails per week.
